Clean the grille at floor level and make sure it isn't blocked. If the unit is outdoors, confirm it's an outdoor-rated model. Indoor units in hot spaces run long and still lose temperature.
Check the slides for debris and make sure the drawer isn't overloaded. Worn slides let the drawer sit unevenly, which breaks the gasket seal.
Check with a thermometer in a glass of water left inside for a few hours. If the readings disagree widely, the sensor or control may be faulty.
