Your Privacy Rights

This page explains the privacy rights you have with TrueFix San Antonio and how to use them. Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), which took effect on July 1, 2024. Some businesses, including many small businesses, are exempt from parts of that law; whether or not it applies to us, we will honor the requests below for any customer.
Your Rights
- Confirm and access — ask whether we process your personal data and get access to it
- Correct — ask us to correct inaccurate personal data
- Delete — ask us to delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes)
- Portability — get a copy of personal data you gave us in a portable, readily usable format
- Opt out — of the sale of your personal data, its use for targeted advertising, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not do any of these.
- No discrimination — we will not deny service or charge a different price because you exercised these rights
We do not process sensitive personal data (as defined in the TDPSA) without your consent.
How to Make a Request
Contact us using the details below and tell us which right you want to use. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on the request, and an authorized agent may make an opt-out request on your behalf.
We will respond within 45 days of receiving your request. If we reasonably need more time, we may extend this once by up to another 45 days, and we will tell you within the first 45 days that we are doing so and why. Requests are free of charge, up to twice in a 12-month period.

Appeals
If we decline to act on your request, we will explain why and tell you how to appeal. You can appeal by replying to our decision or contacting us using the details above. We will respond to an appeal in writing within 60 days and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, you may contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
