About Sub-Zero repair

- Most Sub-Zero built-ins run two independent refrigeration systems, one for fresh food and one for the freezer, so one side can quit entirely while the other holds perfect temperature — working out which is the first job.
- Sub-Zero expects its units to be repaired where they stand for many years; cleaning the condenser on schedule and replacing a tired door gasket are ordinary upkeep.
- Pulling a Sub-Zero out of its cabinet opening to replace it means carpentry and often new panels, so faults that would retire a freestanding refrigerator are simply repaired on these.
Built-in Sub-Zero equipment: what the visit involves
Most Sub-Zero equipment is built into cabinetry or anchored in place, so the visit starts with working out how to reach it. We allow a longer appointment and protect floors, cabinet faces and countertops before anything moves.
It changes the economics as well. Replacing a fitted Sub-Zero usually means cabinet or countertop work on top of the new appliance, so a failure that would retire a freestanding unit is usually still a repair here.
