Thermador refrigeration is mostly the Freedom Collection: panel-ready or stainless columns and built-in bottom-freezer and French-door models designed to sit flush with the cabinets. A column is a standalone appliance with its own compressor, so a fridge column and the freezer column beside it fail independently. Typical failure points are fans, defrost components, sensors and the hinge and soft-close hardware that carries a custom panel. Built-in units exhaust heat through the toe-kick, which has to stay clear.

Before the visit
The model and serial number are on a sticker inside the fresh-food compartment, usually on a side wall near the top or behind the crisper drawers. A photo of that label is the most useful thing you can send when you book: it tells us which Thermador platform you have and which parts to bring.
Make sure the vents inside aren't blocked by food, both doors close and seal, and the condenser coils at the bottom or back aren't matted with dust. If the refrigerator is in a garage, note how hot it gets out there.

Many repairs can: fans, sensors, controls, gaskets and hinge adjustments are usually done in place. Sealed-system work or access to the back may mean pulling the column forward, which involves the anchoring hardware and the panels on either side, so it's planned before anything is moved.
Usually it's an adjustment or a hinge repair. A custom panel adds weight, and if the mounting screws have loosened or the hinge is worn, the door drops and stops sealing. Correcting it early keeps the gasket from wearing unevenly.
Each column has its own cooling system, so a healthy freezer tells you nothing about the fridge. Check that the toe-kick grille is clear and the door seals, then the fan, defrost system and sensors in the warm column need testing.
Because "not cooling" can be a dusty condenser, a failed fan, a defrost fault or a refrigerant leak, and those are very different jobs. Testing on site shows which one it is, and the quote follows from that.
