A counter-depth install leaves less room around the condenser, so airflow and a clean coil matter more than on a deep fridge. A warm fresh-food section usually traces to an iced evaporator, a fan motor or a sensor, and on dispenser models the ice maker and water valve take the brunt of SAWS water, which runs very hard.

Repairing a Bosch refrigerator instead of replacing it

Make sure the vents inside the fresh-food section aren't blocked by food and that both doors close fully. If they are clear, a common cause is frost choking the evaporator after a defrost fault, or a fan that has stopped. Frost on the freezer's back panel is a strong clue that defrost is the problem.
A filter that isn't fully seated can restrict or block flow, so remove it and reinstall it until it locks. Air trapped in the line after a change also slows the first few glasses, so dispense several to purge it. If flow stays weak, the water valve or a frozen line in the door needs checking.
Not always. Fans, sensors, gaskets and controls can usually be serviced with the column in place. Sealed-system work or a leak behind the unit can mean sliding it out, which involves the anchoring hardware and the panels on either side.
