Viking dishwashers are built to sit flush in the cabinet run, and many are panel-ready. They share the problems of any built-in dishwasher: drains blocked by debris, door latches that stop registering, and water that doesn't reach its heating target. Before the visit
The model and serial number are on the edge of the door or the side of the tub, visible when the door is open. A photo of that label is the most useful thing you can send when you book: it tells us which Viking platform you have and which parts to bring.
Clean the filter at the bottom of the tub, check that the spray arms spin freely and their holes aren't plugged, and top up the rinse aid. If water is left standing, check the connection to the garbage disposal as well.

Yes. The door springs are set for the weight of the door and panel, and a heavy panel or worn springs lets the door fall. The springs can be replaced or adjusted to match the panel weight.
That is mineral scale from very hard water. Use rinse aid, use a detergent formulated for hard water, and run the machine's cleaning routine with a dishwasher descaler. Scale left in the jets and inlet valve eventually affects wash performance.
Clean the filter first, then check the drain hose for kinks and the disposal knockout plug if it drains through a disposal. If those are clear and you can hear the pump humming without draining, the pump may be jammed or failing.
Not if it's leaking onto the floor, smells of burning or trips the breaker. A dishwasher that leaves water behind or cleans poorly won't be harmed by waiting, but clean the filter first, since it's a common cause of both.
