Thermador range repair: what to know
Thermador's Pro Grand ranges are the brand's largest pro-style ranges, offered with griddles, grills and, on some models, a steam oven alongside the main convection oven. More burners and cavities mean more igniters, valves, elements and sensors, and each works independently. The griddle and grill have their own heat sources and controls. A Pro Grand is heavy and anchored against tipping, so pulling one out for rear access is planned carefully, and the gas connection is leak-checked once it's reconnected.
Worth knowing about Thermador: Thermador belongs to BSH alongside Bosch and Gaggenau, but its pro ranges use Thermador's own burners and oven components. Also, Thermador's star-shaped burners spread the flame over more ports than a round burner, so an uneven flame usually means clogged ports or an igniter problem, not the gas supply.
