Electrolux range repair: what to know
Electrolux ranges include front-control gas, electric and induction models, and some offer convection with steam assistance. Front-control designs put the knobs or touch panel at the front edge of the cooktop, which is convenient but exposes the controls to spills, so a panel fault is a real possibility on these models. The oven follows standard patterns: a glow-bar igniter or bake element, a temperature sensor and a door lock for self-clean. Electrolux and Frigidaire ranges can share platforms, but trim and controls usually differ.
Worth knowing about Electrolux: Electrolux shares engineering with Frigidaire and adds upgraded finishes, insulation and its own control electronics, so some parts cross between the two and the boards generally don't. Also, control boards in Electrolux induction cooktops are specific to the model, so on an older cooktop we check the board can still be had before we quote.

Some share a platform and many internal parts, since both come from Electrolux. Controls, trim and some features are brand-specific. The full model number tells which parts fit.
Note the code, switch the breaker off for a minute and back on, and try the zone with a known induction pan. If the code returns, the zone's board, sensor or wiring needs testing. The other zones working suggests the fault is local to that zone.
The door lock has to engage before the clean cycle starts. If it doesn't lock, the lock motor or switch is a likely cause. A sensor fault can also block self-clean.
If the fault is limited to one burner or the oven, and there's no gas smell, sparking or breaker tripping, you can usually use the rest carefully. Any sign of a gas or electrical fault means switching the whole range off.
