Samsung ranges include slide-in and freestanding models in gas, electric, induction and dual-fuel versions, many with a Flex Duo oven that can be split into two zones. Dual-fuel models pair a gas cooktop with an electric oven, so each half is diagnosed separately. In 2024 Samsung recalled a large number of slide-in electric ranges whose front-mounted knobs could be turned on by accidental contact, so if you own a slide-in electric model, check it on Samsung's recall page.

The recall covered certain slide-in electric ranges with front-mounted knobs. Look up your model and serial number on Samsung's recall site or the CPSC listing, and follow Samsung's remedy if it's included. Until then, keep children, pets and anything leaning on the range away from the knobs.
It confirms gas is reaching the range and the cooktop ignition works, but the oven runs on 240-volt electric elements. So the checks move to the bake and convection elements, the temperature sensor and the relays on the control board.
Keep it clean and store it where it won't get bent, because it has to seat properly for the oven to switch to dual-zone mode. If the oven won't offer split cooking with the divider in, check that it's fully inserted before suspecting a sensor fault.
